Divisions

Divisions expands on my earlier work with Subdivisions. I began by extending the original algorithm so that it would lend itself to being painted by hand. Then I curated this set of outputs which form the foundation for the ultimate painted works. The process of painting itself changed these works from their original digital perfection into something that captures the imperfection of human creation.
